Belly Dance Performance Project

Would you like to take your Belly Dance practice a step further, learn complete choreographies and work together towards a beautiful performance?

 

The Belly Dance Performance Project begins on 13 September 2026. This additional programme is designed for dancers who have a reasonably good command of the basic Belly Dance technique and would like to develop further in choreography, expression and stage presentation.

 

During the weekly Belly Dance classes at Body Joy Studio, we work on technique, musicality, freedom of movement and the joy of dancing. Everyone can take part at their own level. The Performance Project is separate from these classes and is offered as an additional programme, fully focused on creating a performance.

 

During the project rehearsals, we work on group choreographies, formations, dancing together, expression and stage presentation. We meet once a month, on the second Sunday of each month, from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm.

 

Between rehearsals, you will practise at home with the help of practice videos. The project is therefore intended for motivated dancers who enjoy working together towards a beautiful final result and are able to make enough time to practise at home as well.

 

After seven project Sundays, we will conclude the programme on the eighth project Sunday, 11 April 2027. We will have our final rehearsal from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm, followed by a festive afternoon performance in a small theatre at 2:00 pm. Family and friends are warmly invited to come and watch.
